Is it possible to get trich in your throat or even your chest and it is painfull? Or is that a different issue?

I have a friend that gave and 3 days later had a hard time breathing. She complains that her throat hurts and it leads through her chest. She couldn't breath very well so she went to the hospital and they couldn't find anything except she had trich through her urine. So they gave her medication and still the problems still occurredd. She went to the doc the next day still they told her they couldn't find anything. So my question is could she have an STI in her throat and her chest?
