The amount of irritation and inflammation can affect how obvious the cherry eye condition is . If your dog had rubbed his eye and gotten it very inflamed, it could have been more swollen and red yesterday than it is today. Cherry eye will not go away on it's own, the third eyelid gland has to be surgically reattached into the proper position. Has your vet examined your puppy & given you a diagnosis of cherry eye already?
