Is this a good Hanoverian colt to buy?

He is a month old, very dark bay, with a stripe, and two large hind socks, almost perfectly matched. He is by Romantic Star, and out of a imported premium holsteiner mare with Capitol, Gaspari, Grundyman lines, and has a succesful show career both in Germany and the US, as a hunter and jumper. This colt is part of the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program, both his parents were accepted into the JBP book. He will be a registed Hanoverian, as his mother was accepted into their non-hanoverian mare book. I will plan on using this colt as a hunter/jumper. Any knowledgable advice would be much appreciated.
