Jehovah's Witnesses: Do most JW's regard themselves as "open-minded"?

Well, think of it this way: would YOU accept and eat any food you know to be poisoned? That would be the same thing if one of Jehovah's Witnesses, who already has the truth, were to take any literature from any other source, particular those who are openly hostile and critical of God's earthly channel, the "faithful and discreet slave" today.
