No credit big down payment car loan.?

Im looking into a base model 2010 camaro. I am selling my current car and should be able to put 15 thousand down on a roughly 24 thousand dollar car. Im 18 and have no credit. My parents credit is horrible so I cant have a co-signer. Ive talked to a few dealerships and they have told me with that much equity I should be able to get a loan? Do you think its for sure ? i don't want to sell my current car then not be able to get my camaro! thanks
